Job Description

A Maintenance Engineer required for a local and well established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a small team that can offer training and career development within the business.

Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm

The successful candidate will ideally be mechanically biased or multiskilled with a mechanical qualification and any manufacturing experience is highly desired.

Working alongside a team, under the leadership of the Maintenance Team Manager, you'll be responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical machinery. Day to day, this will involve undertaking a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance duties, as well as identifying solutions that will improve systems efficiency and reduce costs.

THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER ROLE:
Reactive maintenance on production machinery.
Working to PPM schedules.
Mechanical fault finding and general mechanical fitting
Create processes and documentation for the maintenance of equipment
Participate in internal and external audits of site facilities, processes and systems.

THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
Will hold a mechanical qualification.
Manufacturing experience highly desired.
Comes from an manufacturing, industrial, production or similar background.
