Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full time
Location: Herefordshire
Shift: 2 days on, 3 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off.


My clients are a market leading global packaging company, and are seeking maintenance engineers to join their team due to business development.

Role of maintenance engineer:

" Respond to breakdown repairs
" To work closely with team leader on shift
" Completion of machine PPMs to the agreed schedule and standard
" Keep accurate records of all work completed on shift
" Book out all parts and consumable
" Take part and implement considerations from risk assessments across the site
" Working 12 hours shifts including both day and night (please see shift pattern above)

Skills and Experience required

" At least 3 years` experience in a manufacturing environment
" Time served NVQ Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline
" You must be computer literate; ability to use NVQ and NVQ Office
" You must be mechanically or electrically qualified; or NVQ-skilled
" You must be able to work as part of a team and individually
