Brook Street are excited to be working with one of Lincoln's Leading manufacturing companies. A opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer within a dynamic and friendly team at their Lincoln facility.

The role will include day to day maintenance of the factory as well as been heavily involved in PPM.

The machines vary across two factories, ranging from older equipment to state of the art, newly invested machinery.

Monday -Fri: 8am- 5pm
Salary: £32- 34k


Job Description:
" Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance inspections
" Undertake planned preventative maintenance
" Responding to breakdown issues including the use of electrical/pneumatic drawings
" diagnosing faults and repairing equipment ,including unplanned issues & repairs
" obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
" managing budgets
" maintaining statistical and financial records
" ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
" creating maintenance procedures
" Control & maintenance of tools, stores and equipment
" Train operators in the basic maintenance techniques when required and support asset care programmes
" Maintain relevant service documents & other paperwork in an orderly and easily accessible fashion
" Liaise with external engineers in relation to machine breakdowns/third party servicing
" Communicate effectively with the Production Management & Operators


The ideal candidate will possess:
" Previous experience of working within a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
" Ability to learn and retain information
" Flexibility as required
" Complete all work to the highest of standards
" Professional qualification in mechanical engineering or electronics/electrical engineering - essential
" The will to learn new skills as the new technology we are investing in develops
