Job Description

Due to a new opening we're looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to look after our amazing grounds and facilities.
Based in South West London we're home to one of the most prestigious sports homes and facilities in the country and we're proud of what we do and who we are that's why we're looking for somebody special to join our team.
Predominantly our new Maintenance role is Monday - Friday but with the occasional Saturday thrown in as well. All working on a 5day week, so we can be flexible with what days you take off.
Hours are an early start to try to minimise disruption to club members and to ensure facilities are ready for the start of the day. Most days you will be required to work 6am-2pm.

The bulk of your new role will entail….
" Implement the planned preventative maintenance programme, being able to understand and carry out duties in accordance with our standards.
" Successfully resolve all reactive maintenance tasks
" Maintain and service the grounds to an exceptional level
" Deliver to brand standard across all aspects of the landscape and appearance of the centre
" Act as a first point of contact for core grounds contractor tasks
" Provide effective management of equipment, ensuring it is correctly stored, maintained and serviced.
" Support the Head Groundsman to ensure all statutory inspections are completed at appropriate times
" Provide oversight and where necessary day to day management of any third party maintenance contractors, ensuring due diligence and relevant H&S procedures are always adhered to.
" Understand and implement relevant H&S regulations, with a thorough understanding of legislation relating to chemicals and dangerous substances, whilst promoting safe working practises at all times.
" Work with and support others in the team to ensure that the team`s services complement all strands of the Operations service.
" Provide support for major events as and when necessary

Our ideal candidate will have worked on both Clay and Grass sports grounds / courts and understands the importance of excellent maintenance.
We do want somebody with both Electrical and Plumbing Qualifications as this is an essential part of our job.
