Job Description

A fantastic new opportunity for you to work for a well-established company in the St Albans area in a Management Accounts role. This is a very exciting time to join the business as it undergoes expansion and development, working with a great team and good working environment.


You will be responsible for managing the cycle of accounts that covers Management Accounts, Trial Balance, Sales Ledger and Bought Ledger, with extensive use of various computer packages. Access Dimensions would be an advantage but not essential. You need to be a well-rounded accounts person who has worked in a variety of capacities in Accounts for different businesses. You will be assisting with transaction of sales and need to have at least three years' experience.


This is a six-month contract or a full-time job role. Ideally you will have knowledge of all accounting from manual petty cash to more detailed senior management accounts. You should have worked for more than one company where you can bring your experience to the business.


You will be developed to take on other duties in the business and have a forthright attitude to updating systems to work more effectively for the business and have a proactive way of thinking about how you can impact the business in a positive way.


My client is flexible if you are qualified, part qualified or have on the job experience, the main thing is that you have the knowledge to demonstrate your ability to do the job.


Salary: 30-50k per annum
