Job Description

My client who are based in Irlam, Manchester who have 9 factories throughout the UK are looking for the right hand man for the North West Operations Manager.

You will be responsible for the smooth running for all day to day operations of the factory this will include the management of both staff and vehicles.

Your role will be to correctly manage the factory operations to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction, you will ensure all Health and Safety regimes are implemented to ensure the safety of personnel. You will oversee the day to day haulage operations to maximise delivery efficiencies and minimise costs and efficiency in production, and stock control. You will manage the operations workforce to maximise efficiency and productivity as well as all factory maintenance and breakdowns. You also will ensure that all training requirements are met for factory workforce and environmental regimes are implemented to ensure compliance with current legislation.

As Manager you will coordinate staff attendance and absences overseeing both permanent and temporary staff dealing with any first point of call HR issues.

This role is salaried at around £35,000 Monday - Friday; however you will be flexible as a Manager to be on call OR have procedures in place that will cover Saturday mornings where there would be no disruptions.
You will also be given a company fully expensed van.
