Brook Street (UK) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Manufacturing Quality Inspector for our client based in the north-west of Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leader in their industry and one of Northern Ireland`s employers of choice.

The primary responsibility is to ensure that finished goods of the quality level required by the end users so that they can be released for shipment to customers in accordance with our client`s Quality Policy.

The successful candidate will assist with the continuous improvement in Manufacturing towards World Class standards and quality performance. The successful candidate will be charged with further-improving an already-impressive quality performance, reducing quality issues, improving the efficiency of the process of investigating quality issues, and creating and implementing corrective actions.

You will have a passion for quality, a desire for continuous improvement, and be enthusiastic about the manufacturing industry. You will enjoy working with both Quality and Manufacturing teams, you`ll be a problem-solver, and you`ll enjoy being part of a team of like-minded Quality enthusiasts.

Candidates must have Academic qualifications in Maths & English, have at least 2 years previous manufacturing experience in a similar role and have a knowledge of production, quality and hygiene systems.

The rate of pay for this role will be £11.34 per hour. You will be required to work on a 24/7 shift pattern; working 2 weeks of day shifts, followed by 2 weeks of nights on a 12 hour shift rotational basis. The role is initially on a temporary basis with the possibility of this leading to a permanent position based on individual performance.
