Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Derry/ Londonderry opportunity exists for a Fixed Term Manufacturing Training Coordinator within their state-of-the-art plant in Campsie, Derry

The primary responsibilities of the Manufacturing Training Coordinator, in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager, is for the effective operational delivery of the Training function to the business.

The role for a Full Time 9 Month Fixed Term

Duties:

  • Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behaviour and safe systems of work
  • Update and maintain the in-house Nvolve Training system, amending, and revising training programmes as necessary
  • Ensure that all training incl statutory training requirements are tracked, arranged, and reported at all times
  • Source and price and arrange training via external training providers as required
  • Complying with ISO13485 and internal Quality Procedures regarding company training requirements,
  • Assisting with training room booking / layout and transportation of equipment when required
  • Creation, issue, delivery and reporting of in-house training manuals per job role/department with job role content provided by Department Manager across all functions
  • Provide mid-month, monthly report and for Managers as required on the Company Training compliance
  • Support colleagues in the use of Nvolve as required
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure a seamless organisation geared to deliver the Company`s Training system
  • Complete effectiveness of training form for external training
  • Uses Nvolve to obtain approval of and uploading of revised or new documents, liaising with Quality Systems Officer
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Will include participating in special projects as identified
  • Day to day operation of the Training system
  • Timely provision of Training and document management request.
  • Liaising with Team Leaders and Managers for issuing and completion of all training


Essential Criteria:

  • GCSEs including Math`s & English
  • Previous experience with training / hr
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word)
  • Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Genuine interest in Training & Development
  • Strong Organisational Skills
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Excellent time management skills



The starting salary is £22-25k depending on experience.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm
