Marine Purchasing Administrator - £23,000-£28,000

My client is looking for a full time Marine Purchasing Administrator to start as soon as possible!

Brook Street is pleased to be working with a leading company in the marine service sector providing award winning installations and retro-fits of all equipment and systems to Luxury Yachts. My client offers an excellent working environment; a positive, small and friendly team and a real opportunity for career progression. Our client is now looking to take on a Purchasing Administrator on an initial 8 month fixed term contract; however there is likely the opportunity for this role to become permanent.

The Marine Purchasing Administrator is responsible for Building excellent business relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors and with the Marine Engineering Team and negotiating terms and placing purchase orders for materials, services and sub-contracts whilst updating the relevant internal customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. They will need to provide administrative assistance to the Operations and Engineering teams as required. They will also be Assisting Commercial Director with annual servicing of HSE equipment and PPE and Ensure quality assurance policies and procedures are met to comply with ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, clear and confident negotiation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. They will need to be organised, focused and proactive with an amazing attention to detail. A drive for progression and success is always important.

In return for your hard work our client offers a competitive salary of £23-£28K per year. Working hours are standard office hours, but can be discussed at interview.
