An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Market Researcher working for our client on the outskirts of York. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying the current market conditions and identifying potential sales opportunities.
-Undertake insightful research and analysis of our portfolio of insurance products.
-Collect data on consumers, competitors and industry marketplace. The information must then be consolidated into actionable reports and/or notifications.
-Investigate market trends using SWOT analysis and make recommendations based on findings.
-Conduct online market research and catalogue findings to relevant databases.
-Review current reporting systems and formats, make recommendations to actionable changes and implement.
-Undertake annual product audits.
-Maintain product listings.
-Monitoring Optional Benefits performance.
-Monthly competitor analysis report.
-Keep up to date with any new or revised FCA regulations.
-Stay fully informed of marketing trends and research from other parties and implement best practices subsequently.
-At least three years' experience in a market research or marketing analyst role.
-Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Statistics or related field preferred but not essential.
-Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS or similar.
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
-Search engines and business research tools acumen.
-Proactivity and initiative to deliver insight in order to guide department strategy.
-Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
-Ability to source and analyse information.
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
