Job Description

We are recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to join our client in their Exeter office to assist the marketing team primarily with events planning and creative output, plus additional supporting activities. The position will be normally based within the Marketing department at the Exeter office; however, it is likely that for the first few months the role will need to be carried out remotely.

Key Duties of the role;

o Produce out external creative output including, internal and external newsletters, adverts and tender documents
o Planning and coordinating firm events including seminars, workshops, webinars and agricultural show attendance
o Manage specific marketing sponsorship campaigns
o Working with the marketing team to develop and execute the marketing strategy
o Be a key contributor to an upcoming rebrand process
o Attend and conduct regular internal and external meetings to aid successful events planning
o Updating and maintaining marketing databases
o Monitoring and reporting progress against planned timelines, deliverables and milestones
o Managing stock of promotional material and organising the distribution of these to other offices
o Contribution to our firmwide Corporate Sociably Responsibility team, identifying ways in which the marketing activities can support this area
o Administration duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, binding, printing, mailing
o Use of social media to advertise, promote and market the business and its activities
o Responsible for managing website 'events' pages
o Some out of hours work and travel to events or other offices will be necessary
o A combination of working from home and in the office, with flexible working hours considered

Ideally as a suitable candidate for the role, you will have the following attributes, skills, experience and qualifications;

o Outgoing, socially confident and emotionally controlled
o A positive attitude, friendly and approachable
o Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexibly
o Adaptable, organised and conscientious
o Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Discreet, professional and team orientated in approach
o Passionate about all areas of marketing
o Good written and oral communications skills
o Must be experienced with Adobe design software, primarily InDesign, also Photoshop and
Illustrator
o Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Social Media programmes
o Events management experience is desirable
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detail
o Ability to present information effectively and concisely in emails and documents
o Ability to learn new IT skills quickly
o Full driving licence and access to a car for work use is required
