Job Description

North of Scotland based business is seeking a Marketing Manager. The company ship globally in both B2B and B2C, as well as running courses throughout the UK. This is a family run business, now in its third decade and looking for a Marketing Manager as the business grows.

The company structure is agile, offering a real opportunity to set the agenda, rather than be hindered by too much procedure. As a business, they are open to new ideas and ways of working (including the possibility of working part of the week from home). This is a role where the successful candidate can work with lots of autonomy and really make a difference. Will report to the Operations Director and Company Directors.

You MUST have two or more years experience in a Marketing position, educated to degree level or equivalent, numerate with a high standard of written English.

You will be responsible for:
Development, implementation, execution and measurement of a Marketing Plan with Directors.
Building the quarterly promotional calendar, planning, sharing, editing and developing Production of email marketing newsletters, developing creative and content, monitoring and reporting results, building automation, personalisation and dynamic content elements.
To manage Social Media and digital platforms in line with the marketing plan, responsible for managing the marketing budget.
Manage the agencies responsible for Google AdWords and Facebook campaigns, copy-writing promotional material.
Preparing and presenting data clearly to managers across the business, ensuring insights and customer trends are provided through data analysis.
Adding content and editing website as required on a campaign basis.
Using analytics to monitor and report (e.g Google Analytics, Moz, Facebook insights).
Developing future BTL and ATL campaigns.
Presenting proposals to senior management.
Liaising with and managing agencies as required.
Identifying brand development and growth opportunities.
Working on NPD (new product development) launches and managing their launch campaigns.
Managing SEO or SEO agencies as required.
Sales monitoring, analysis and reporting.
Creating and designing images/graphics for marketing campaigns.
Exploiting ad-hoc marketing opportunities.

Salary ranges between £21-25k.
