Marketing Specialist | Full time 40 Hours | Permanent | Elland | Up to £30,000
Currently flexible working due to pandemic, will return to Office-based.

Job Purpose
Contribute to the development and implementation of my client's marketing strategy. To provide timely marketing service to the business and aid the achievement of sales objectives in line with agreed budgets. You will be fully responsible for successfully implementing the mix of marketing instruments. As an expert in your field, you will promote long-term and strategic customer loyalty and oversee all marketing activities.

Internal Marketing: raise the profile of Marketing within the company and prove the value of well-planned and managed campaigns. Also, to include ensuring that company premises are supporting the brand platform and communications objectives.


Key Responsibilities
- Define Goals and marketing strategy to be agreed with sales team members related to: product/service, price, promotion, samples/literature, product development/launches, and Routes to market.

- Develop relationships within Group and mirror the Marketing function throughout affiliated Companies

- Responsible for: analysis of current and new market landscape such as, trends, new developments & competitions. Defining corresponding actions and/or strategy. Providing insight to the sales team.

- Responsible for supporting the development of marketing tools such as: key account plans, or marketing plan model.

- Responsible product mix maintenance and optimisation.

- Responsible for implementing and managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Model for the UK.

- Perform other duties that may be required from time to time in accordance with the needs of the business as delegated by the Sales Director.

Tasks you can expect
- Campaign planning - in close co-operation with, and to achieve the objectives of, the Strategic Industry Unit Managers.

- Communication plans - develop communication plans for all activities inc. target audience, communications objectives, key messages and themes, instruments and implementation/action plan.

- E-marketing - develop and deliver e-marketing campaigns, using in-house tools, to support achievement of campaign objectives. Also, to include the proactive use of other electronic platforms.

- Advertising/Direct Mail - to manage the development and delivery of relevant and effective campaigns.

- Exhibitions - Proactively improve the coverage, relevance and quality of exhibition activity inc. identifying relevant events, developing display material, managing logistics and event management.

- Product launches - working closely with the SIU, deliver the commercially successful launch of new products to both internal and external audiences.

- Creation of flyers, advertisements, brochures, etc. (content and graphic design).

- Supervision (expansion) of social media activities and support to other departments in this area, such as using social media platforms

What's expected of you

- Relevant qualification in Marketing or Business or a related field and with a focus on sales (educated to degree level)

- Several years of experience in marketing

- Confident in use of Microsoft Office Packages

- Profound knowledge of the use and mix of marketing instruments

- Knowledge of Photoshop
