Job Description

We`re working with a well established company in Halifax, looking for a motivated and experienced Material Planner to join their team on a permanent basis.

You`ll be joining a global company, well respected in their field. The Material Planner will join a team of warehouse and stock controllers to ensure that stock levels meet manufacturing requirements, minimising wastage. Duties will include:

Material order processing
Monitoring material flow and identifying any forecast issues
Stock control reports, forecasting and analysis utilising inhouse MRP software and Excel
Managing inventory, liaising with other production facilities and suppliers and forecasting inventory levels, ensuring these meet the demands planned production.
Developing relationships with warehouse and office colleagues, alongside liaising with suppliers and other sites.
The role will also involve some goods in duties, including use of FLT and manual handling.

We`re looking for an experienced material planner, stock controller or supply chain planner. Experience within analysis and reporting, utilising Excel and a materials resource planning system is essential.
As the go to person for stock queries and demand issues, we`re looking for a confident people person, able to negotiate and influence.

Our client offer a salary of up to £22,000, with free onsite parking.
