Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Mallusk to recruit a full time and permanent Materials Administrator

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the ordering and management of raw materials within the department.

You will collate, input and analyse production data accurately and timely. You will work closely with suppliers, production departments and planning teams.

You will have demonstrable working knowledge of Windows based software, most notably, Excel.

As part of the role, you will be required to prepare weekly departmental KPI reports.

Duties

* Deal with raw material stock control in line with production plans and schedules
* Order raw materials in a timely matter
* Promptly and accurately complete the necessary paperwork
* Report production data accurately in a timely manner
* Liaise / meet with suppliers, production and planning teams
* Identify potential issues before they arise
* Assist in the creation / delivery of health and safety improvements
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

CRITERIA

* At least one year's experience in an administrative role
* 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Maths. (2 years MRP experience will be considered for candidates who do not possess all relevant qualifications)
* Experience in Microsoft Excel

DESIRABLE

(the following skills would be valuable, but are not essential)

* Experience in material handling / stock control
* MRP system or similar
* Microsoft 365
* A manufacturing environment

" Normal working hours will be:- 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday to Thursday inclusive and 7:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Friday with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes each day. (Hours of work may change slightly depending on position
