Job Description

My client based in Watford are looking for a Mechanical assembler to join thier small team
This is a long term temp position with a possibility of a perm job in the future.
There will be task based supervision, in a small batch repetitive production environment. Working alone or as part of assembly line team.

Must be familiar with use of hand and power assisted tools, such as screw drivers.
(Hammers, mallets, spanners, pliers, sockets, wrenches etc.)
Have a basic understanding of mechanical components nuts, bolts, bearings, gears belts.
The successful applicant must have some basic electrical knowledge and be able to strip and connect wires
Be quality aware and have a self-critical eye, with a right first time attitude.

You must have a good attention to detail and be able to follow a process.
Ideally you will have had a background in mechanical assembly producing final products and sub-assemblies.
The hourly rate for this role is £10.50, and there is on site parking

The working hours are :

Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1645

Friday 0730 -1230
