My client is an esteemed and well known train transportation business within the South West and Midlands regions. They are looking for a Carriage and Wagon Mechanical Fitter Machinist to join their busy team within the Kidderminster area.

Job Role of Carriage and Wagon Mechanical Fitter Machinist:
"Mechanical Maintenance
"Overhaul and repair of heritage coaching stock
"Supervision of Fitters Mates, Fitter Machinist Improvers and Apprentices
"Assist in the production and upkeep of carriage maintenance records
"Assist with the training of apprentices, junior staff and staff from other heritage railways
"Operation of traditional central lathes, milling machines, bench fitting and welding

Desired Experiences for Carriage and Wagon Mechanical Fitter Machinist:
"Good written and oral communication skills
"Good team player
"Integrity, initiative and focus
"Mechanical engineering skills
"Stock management and understanding of production and engineering drawings as necessary
"Computer literate
