Job Description

An international manufacturing company, with an established factory in the Newport, Gwent area is looking to appoint a Mechanical Technician / Engineer to complete site maintenance in the manufacturing / engineering area. This site is based in Newport but is easily accessed from the Cardiff, Bristol and Swansea areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out typical maintenance duties within the manufacturing plant, focusing on the maintenance and repairs of pumps, vessels and associated machinery. Experience of hydraulics would be advantageous, together with a timeserved qualification (apprenticeship) in maintenance or mechanical engineering.

Familiarity with pumps, hydraulics, and valves is essential for the successful candidate.
