Based in Trafford Park, this is a great opportunity to join a well established mechanical repair specialist


It's a permanent role with plenty of overtime available so our client is looking for someone who has a flexible attitude towards overtime which can be at short notice.


Duties within the role will include:
Shaft repairs. Housing repairs. Metal spraying. Welding.
Dismantling and assembly
Measuring
Assess and evaluate rotating machines
Testing components
Machining of components including lathes, milling, grinding
Working within a workshop environment and on Site
Measuring wear using Micrometers, Verniers etc
Removal and fitting of precision components
Diagnosing reasons for failure

For this position you should have the following skills and experience:
Experienced in manual machining; lathes; milling; drilling etc
Able to use calipers, verniers etc
General bench fitting experience
Able to dismantle and repair rotating machines
Knowledge of limits and fits
An enthusiastic nature
Full and valid driving licence
