Job Description

Brook Street has an exciting opportunity for a medical professional with experience of creating literature and information to join an NHS department on a temporary basis until March 2022. As with all of our roles, there is always the opportunity for this role to be extended or lead to something permanent.

This is a home-working role with occasional visits to the office in Cardiff.

Key Responsibility

• To use information provided by the senior research team and to conduct literature reviews to support the development of preventable disease and immunisation guidance suitable for Wales, in order to produce written guidance and information including leaflets, campaign material and education resources on preventable disease and immunisation.

Specific Tasks

• Produce documentation in line with key performance indicators and meeting clearly defined quality standards.
• Evaluate and use literature, surveillance data and guidance already in existence to produce vaccine preventable disease and immunisation guidance.
• To assist in the preparation, maintenance and provision of progress reports on the development of requested vaccine preventable disease and immunisation information and guidance.

Relevant Experience

• Experience of researching and producing medical information including leaflets, campaign material and education resources.
• Experience and knowledge in the use of advanced MS Office suite
• Proven experience of working autonomously and without supervision, using own initiative, but with access to advice when necessary.

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 4, Degree or equivalent level of experience, together with a high level of numeracy and written and spoken English.
