An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Solicitor / Legal Executive to join their Medical Negligence Team. The role has come about due to growth in the last 12 months.

I am looking for a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE within a Medical/Clincal Negligence department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of own caseload of Medical Negligence work and some Personal Injury work, Assist other fee earners in the department particularly in the management of complex medical negligence matters and work in accordance with the Department and Firm`s Manuals, systems, procedures and policies

The ideal candidate`s key responsibilities will be:
"Progress and manage own medical negligence caseload and some Personal Injury work
"Attend clients and other organisations, by telephone and in person including by post and email
"Comply with quality systems and work instructions to meet LEXCEL standards
"Develop and promote the department and the Firm through events, social media, training and articles and blogs for the website
"Achieve own budget to contribute to the departmental budget
"Assist in maximising effectiveness and efficiency of the Department
"Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the law and legal system as is required in the Department by attending external courses (as permitted) and by other available means
