Role - Medical Project Manager

Pay range - £23.00 - £30.00 per hour
Hours - Full time 37.50 per week
Location - West Sussex

I am looking for a pro active, forward thinking and experienced project manager. Ideally we are looking for someone who has project managed within the medical sector and has a PRINCE2 qualification.

The primary role of the PACS/RIS Project Manager is leading on the high complex replacement of our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and the vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) within Radiology services. PACS/RIS/VNA provides storage, reporting and viewing facilities for radiology images, which are required for a significant proportion of patients who access the Trust. PACS/RIS/VNA is used by radiologists to facilitate radiology image reporting, and by clinicians to assist in making clinical management decisions.

The post holder will be working in collaboration with 5 other acute Trusts in Sussex & Surrey to deliver the re-procurement and initial VNA move to Cloud hosting. There is a central programme team providing the leadership and direction that you would work closing with to deliver the programme. The responsibility of the local project manager is the initiation of the project and establishing appropriate governance within the existing Trust structures along with communication process to and from the central programme team.
