We are offering to pay £23,000 per year and this role includes a competitive Pension, plus 25 + 8 bank holiday, Staff car park, Sub-sidised lunch and a range of other staff benefits such as discounts at local retailers and discounted gym membership. Mon - Fri (9-5).
In this role you will be answering calls, scheduling patient appointments and arranging and updating referrals to consultants. You will be typing all consultant`s notes and letters including audio cassettes so a background in audio typing is a necessity. You will also be maintaining office files and patient records. You will need to communicate with other practitioners: faxing/emailing notes, correspondence to all related clients as well as keeping patient referrals updated and current.
The ideal candidate will have excellent audio typist skills and preferably a background in a previous Medical Secretary role. You will also need to be used to working in a busy environment . The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a empathetic nature.
