Mental Health Support Worker
Leeds - LS7
Days and nights
Full time hours, 37.5, 12 hour shifts
Pay rate - £9.30

Overview of the role-

This is a 15 bed supported living service over 4 floors, all self contained flats with own tenancy, supporting clients with mental health needs, offering intensive support to individuals with complex mental health issues such as Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder, OCD, Anxiety, Psychosis, Drug and Alcohol Misuse

We are looking for flexible staff to join the team in providing outcome focused support, enabling people to live as independently as possible.
We are looking for committed and person centred individuals to enable the people we support to be as independent as possible and maximise opportunities.

Full induction training will be provided however some experience of working in a similar setting is essential as the circumstances of the people being supported will be complex.
All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Roles and responsibilities-
To provide practical empowering support to clients in an enabling way, including encouraging and supporting them to undertake the day to day aspects of daily life, including when required, helping them to take medication in line with the support plan and standard operating procedures
To work in line with the agreed support plan for the individual, ensuring that goals are actively worked towards and developed, to achieve the maximum level of independence for the individual.
