Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join the team at a lovely residential care home for elderly residents in North East Somerset.

Main Duties
" Responsible for 7 beds, caring for elderly people who have mental health issue, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar, Paranoia, Schizophrenia, and Personality Disorders .
" Handling and administering
" Assisting with general daily tasks such as feeding, dressing, washing, nutrition, personal care and hoisting
" Encouraging involvement in activities and socialising with other residents

Contract
Hourly Rate: £8.00- £10.20 per hour
Full time contract - 36 hours per week. Shifts will be 7-12 hours between the times of 7am and 8pm.

Qualifying Candidates
- Experience and knowledge of Mental Health
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care & Mental Health Training
- Medication Trained
- Confident working in a team and lone working at times
