A brand new opportunity has arisen supporting individuals with mental health in Morecambe!

BS Social Care is one of the UK's leading recruitment specialists, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector.

The role of the mental health support worker is to support service users with mental health issues, you will be working on a 1-1 basis for independent individuals. Your duties will include going out into the community. You will be there to be a companion and someone for them to engage and communicate with. This role is a on a temporary basis, shifts tend to be 9am-5pm but can vary.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is active, patient and capable of using their own initiative. You will have experience within this sector and have transferable skills to support these individuals.

You will need a minimum of 6 months paid social care experience within the last 12 months or 12 months experience within the last 2 years. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
