Mental Health Support Worker - Female - Waking Nights
Bradford

42 hour permanent contract
Rolling rota 3 x 12 hour shift week 1 & 4 x 12 hour shift week 2
8pm-8am

£24,460.80

My client is a specialist provider of individually tailored community-based support for individuals with complex mental health conditions, learning disabilities and brain injuries.
They believe that no person should remain in an acute or long stay hospital environment for a day longer than is necessary and that everyone, no matter their personal challenges, has the right to lead a healthy, happy life in their own home.
They look at each individual's care requirements holistically to ensure that we create a package of care that is tailored specifically to meet their personal and rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities-
As a Support Worker within you will join a specialist team supporting an individual within their own home. We support people with complex needs, who may have a Learning Disability, Autism, Personality Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Substance Misuse issues, and people whom require support with their Mental Health.

You will be an instrumental part of the team and will receive outstanding clinical support, leadership and person-centred training. In this role you will support an individual to develop or regain life skills, assisting participation in community life by building strong and trusting working relationships.

We are interested in candidates who have experience of working with young people with complex mental health and behavioural presentation, including Learning and Attachment difficulties.

Ideally you will have at least Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to develop within the company.
You will be able to manage difficult situations calmly and are able to work within agreed evident based interventions that provide Attachment and Trauma Informed approaches.

Training
To assist with your own personal and professional development; you will be invited to attend our unique Training Programme. This will consist of several days and includes workshops such as, Psychological Support, Communication Skills and Clinical Interventions to ensure you are supported to develop the skills to meet the holistic needs of a person with complex care needs .
