This client prides themselves on the guidance and support they provide to the young people in the care and is at the forefront of everything they do, and are currently recruiting for a mental health team leader to become a well-established and well respected member of their strong, supportive team.

You will be expected to directly care for the young people in the service who have complex mental health needs across a number of environments. eg. Education/Leisure. You will also be required to carry out multiple interventions and deliver the highest standards of care to the young people in order to promote their independence, whilst following policies and procedures in a positive, can-do manner.

You will be an enthusiastic, confident and outgoing person demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the role and young adults in your care. You will also be flexible and punctual.

The successful candidate for this role will meet the essential requirements:

-Updated DBS
-Level 2 in care or equivalent
-Level 2 and willing to work towards level 3
-You must have prior experience working with children and young adults with mental health needs

Desirable requirements:
-Level 3 in care
-Previous experience of supervising a team
-Driving licence and access to vehicle
