A well established company who are leaders in their field are expanding so exciting times ahead !

The business it self is a major supplier of a national brand and due to an internal promotion they now have another position available for a Merchandiser. You will be join an existing strong team of merchandisers who will be ultimately driving the company forward.

What does the role involve ?
You will be reporting into senior management and your responsibility will be to drive your client base to ensure you deliver profit plans and sales. By using your existing merchandising skills you will prepare and collate regular feedback to the Buying team regarding current performance and emerging trends in order to maximise sales in trade meetings. You will also be managing the delivery and shipment deadlines, identifying risk to ensure accurate intake of of stock according to plan levels, provide weekly updates on map/intake issues. You will make the most of any opportunity to increase profitability, suggesting markdowns and promotions where appropriate.

What you`ll need to succeed
You will be analytical and highly numerate with a background in forecasting and a thorough understanding of seasonal trends. The ideal candidate will currently be a Merchandiser with at least 12 months within a similar role looking to progress or a current Merchandiser looking for a new challenge. You will be an excellent communicator and have great team building skills to enable to you to be an asset to the current Merchandising team.
