Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to be a Mobile Testing Business Support Officer in a PMO team. 5 day week. 37 Hours within Core Hours: The role may require longer days at peak time and flexi-time will be available. The role would be for 3 months initially and you would be working from home. The pay is £13.74 per hour.

Please note that you would also need to undergo full pre-employment checks upon an offer for the role.

Role Description:
The role is part of the Operations Management Team, the key objective is to provide
o Maintain good team governance through guidance, support and standardisation of documentation.
o Accurate and timely reporting of KPIs internally and to the Programme
o Help teams do the right things and do them well with minimal bureaucracy.
o Be the central link for internal communication
o Support Continuous Improvement of Team processes and products
o Maintain clear overview of Team finances and staff resources
o Provide Business Support to other teams

Depending on skills and experience your role may be to:
o Provide high quality administrative support as required
o Being able to organise the planning and execution of new initiative using different programmes
o Support the development of the strategy and operational policy for the project
o Support in the statistical data and analysis of information
o Being confident in liaising with stakeholders
o Responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring financial budget for the programme for reporting
o Creating business cases to be taken through the approval process


Skills Required
Essential:
o Good communicator highly organised and self-motivated individual
o Willingness to build strong relationships with team members to ensure that there is a supportive, and productive environment for all
o Ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders from a public sector background
o Able to prioritise your workload
o Experience in working in a fast pace environment
o Able to use Microsoft Office app and tools, particularly Excel
o Able to prioritise your workload

Plus some experience in one or more of the following:
o working a project or programme environment
o Experience in Project Management Office/P3O teams;
o Development of policy and process
o Guidance writing
o Management Accountant/Business Management
o Internal Audit
o Finance controller
o Risk management
o Reporting and analysis
