Modern Classroom LD Specialist
Thames Valley Park, Reading
Contract is until June 2019 initially

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Modern Classroom Experience Learning Development Specialist (LDS). This is a contract role based in Reading until June 30th 2019.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: £49,725 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

In what is one of the most exciting and impactful areas of the company, our company is looking for a Modern Classroom Experience Learning Development Specialist (MCE LDS) to join our education team. Our Learning Development Specialists will represent some of the most inspiring educators in the industry, eager and energetic to help other educators and school leaders learn how to optimise their use of technology in and out of the classroom and improve learning outcomes for their students.

Responsibilities
A typical day as in this role includes:
" Share company education narrative, demoing the latest tools and inspiring educators and school leaders to actively use company tools in their classrooms.
" Stay up to date on the latest technology and its use in education
" Attend virtual training sessions and selected in person training sessions to skill up on the latest company technologies and messaging.
" Connect with educators in key managed accounts, moving opportunities pipeline and driving usage and adoption of Windows 10, Office 365, and more.
" Drive effective implementation and post-sales usage of technology in the classroom
" Work with partners to ensure educators are trained on Modern Classroom solutions
" Leverage set tools to manage an active pipeline to demonstrate impact on opportunity growth
" Increase the number of MIEs at key customer accounts.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
" Passion and experience as an educator or similar position. Passion for Technology support the EDU/Learning environment
" Knowledge of company technologies and their applicable use in education. Tools such as Office 365, OneNote Class Notebook, Minecraft: Education Edition, Windows 10, and newly announcement products.
" Familiar with the Educator Community (with active profile)

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Understanding of how to connect pedagogy with technology to support 21st century skill development.
" Able to quickly ramp on new technologies with ease with minimal ongoing guidance
" Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. LDSs will be required to deliver presentations daily.
" Strong technical and creative skills to deliver customised trainings - often addressing educators and school leaders with various levels of technical expertise.
" Strong organisational skills. LDSs are accountable to report on training sessions, planning out calendar of events, tracking of reach.
" Familiarity with social tools to drive community, deliver virtual trainings and support breadth scale of Microsoft education messages
