Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working with our Belfast City Centre Client who are a Global Insurance Company, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding team


  • Managing the customer`s motor claims journey
  • Negotiate Motor Insurance Claims - fleet haulage and marine transport
  • Excellent customer service experience and ability to manage motor claims
  • Provide input and advice to clients on claims progress, manage expectations and support needs.
  • Escalate claims to Account Executives or Senior Management in accordance with referral triggers.
  • Set up first advice and managing subsequent interactions with clients and insurers
  • Assist with the audit of client`s claims statistics and provision of summary reports and analysis.
  • Meet the agreed standards of service, volumes and performance levels, in line with KPIs.
  • Manager Full claims process, first notification to final settlement
  • Ensure all information is captured and inputted onto internal systems
  • Working with Motor / Third Party Property Damage Claims
  • Full Caseload Claims Management


  • Proven experience within Motor Claims, Fleet and some Liability Claims
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Preferred to have CII Qualification or working towards it
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.

Salary will depend on background and based on experience
