Job title: Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 3 Shift
Location: South Gloucestershire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

My client is globally recognised manufacturing business located in South Gloucestershire.

Maintenance Engineer responsibilities:

"To facilitate health and safety at all times
"To carry out reactive and preventative maintenance; repairing electrical breakdowns and determining faults on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
"To follow instructions of Leads engineering plan
"Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are recorded on the system
"Completion of all reports required on shift and raise any issues.
"Participation in route cause analysis.
"To work effectively as part of the maintenance team.
"Training apprentices
"Take part in the risk assessments across the site and ensure constant implementation of health and safety legislation.


Maintenance Engineer Skills and Experience required:

"At least 5 years proven success within a maintenance role
"Must have experience of working with automated grinding, turning, milling CNC machines
"HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline; or equivalent experience
"Must have knowledge of PLCs; Siemens 7, Allan Bradley desirable
"FANUC PLC & CNC control desirable
"Automation & Robotics
"Electrical and Mechanical fault-finding skills paramount
"Experience of working with Robotics would be an advantage
