Job Description

National Accounts and Business Development Manager

My client is a market leading residential Property Buying and Part Exchange company with a strong presence in online B2C and B2B space.

We are a privately-run business with 15 years` experience in this sector and strong growth plans.

The National Accounts and Business Development Manager position requires you to manage National Accounts for part exchange residential property primarily in the Retirement Sector.

The account management portion of the role will involve working with established retirement property accounts on a national basis to grow Part Exchange within their business.

You will work at all levels within your account from MD to Regional Sales Teams, Site Managers and Site Estate Agents selling retirement new build and resale property. The business development part of the role requires you to work on an established list of target clients across the sector and grow an established provider within an exciting and growing sector.

In your national accounts` role, you will be supported by the experienced property buying team and working with the Founder, CEO and the leadership team on account presentations and business development and growth projects.

The team is circa 20 managers, many of whom are long standing employees. We are based South of London near East Croydon, one of London`s major transport hubs. Direct access to major transport hubs Clapham Junction, Victoria, London Bridge and the South is within easy reach.

The business owners are open to property backgrounds with personality and cultural fit a priority requirement.

You will be visiting accounts so there will be an out of office or field portion of the role perhaps 1-2 days a week.

A full training program will be provided, and you will be supported at meetings and key account appointments.

B2B - Account Management
Working with the leadership team:
o Managing existing accounts, being the accounts first point of contact for referrals
o Arranging valuations
o Presenting offers
o Updating to acquisition
o Delivering presentations and account training
o Developing and executing growth plan

B2B - Business development
Working with the leadership team on established business development sector strategy.

Valuation and Risk Management
Working with the underwriting team to asses, value and offer on properties
Making recommendations for acquisition to our property fund
Network management
Instructing Asset Managers to carry out property surveys, valuations and market research packs.
Managing solicitors acting for National Property Trade on acquisitions
Overseeing the conveyancing to acquisition

Starting basic salary of £25,000 with OTE of £40-£45,000 in the 1st year.
