Brook Street (UK) Ltd is delighted to be seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to join our trusted Public Sector client based in Ballymena. This role is for an initial period of three months, with the strong possibility of extension.

As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out a full range of duties within Estate Management, Environmental Management and Community Development.

Duties of this role will include;

• Carrying out Health and Safety checks in communal areas
• Monitoring and reporting on repairs and environmental sites
• Producing reports, providing feedback and attending meetings
• Attending court in support of cases being presented
• Drafting responses to enquiries and complaints
• Undertaking inspections and actioning any necessary duties

To be eligible for this role, you will hold:

A BTEC National or equivalent qualification along with one year's relevant experience
OR
5 GCSEs or equivalent. accompanied by two year's relevant experience

It will be highly advantageous for the successful candidate to have experience in a housing, social care, welfare or caretaking role. Applicants must also demonstrate a mature supportive attitude to people and preferably have experience in counselling and first aid skills.

Access to your own transport and a full current driving licence are essential for this role.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700. In return, you will be paid £9.01 per hour.
