NHS Call Handler
Temporary contact for minimum 6 months
My client based in Carlisle, a large NHS organisation, is looking for a call handler to work in their control room.
The main duties for this role are to handle patient bookings and enquiries from hospitals, patients and GP surgeries to organise transport arrangements in the most efficient way, appropriate to the patient`s circumstances and to the contractual arrangements in place.
" To answer telephone requests for non-urgent transport in accordance with current practices and protocols This includes processing new bookings on the computer system and making changes to existing bookings
" To deal with all telephone enquiries regarding transport providing accurate and relevant information as appropriate
" Demonstrate high level of service delivery and customer care to meet patient and service user satisfaction in-line with Contact Centre standards
" Previous customer service experience
" Accurate transcription and data entry
" Excellent Oral and verbal communication skills.

" Computer/keyboard skills
" Ability to work under pressure

" Ability to maintain Confidentiality
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.00pm
Start Date: 8th April 2019 for a minimum of 6 months
