How would you like to work one week on, one week off? This current ongoing role that I am working on is nights Mon-Sun one week, off the next.

What kind of service you ask? This service really does help those who need it. Its a hostel for the homeless, but also helps people conquer issues like substance abuse and mental health, they also do suicide intervention work. Their goal is to help get people back on their feet.

This role is about ensuring the security of the residents, and the site. You will also be supporting them, listening to them when they want to talk, helping to diffuse tense situations. Part of your role will also involve helping to keep the service clean.

I need some one resilient with a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help people from all walks of life. I need someone who can listen and follow instructions precisely. you`ll need to have an awareness of our surroundings and what is happening within the hostel and be able to report any concerns.

You`ll need to have 6 months experience working within care, ideally with experience working with mental health, homelessness or substance abuse.

You will also ideally have a DBS registered to the online update service, however if you don`t I can help you apply for one.
