Job Description

** Registered Night Nurse - RGN **
** Stanwick, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent/ 42 hours/ 7.30pm - 7.30am **
** £18ph/ £39,312 **
** Working with Severe Dementia **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for an RGN within a nursing/residential home in Stanwick, Northamptonshire. You will be working with adults with severe Dementia.

About the employer; specialisms/services; accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, Dementia, diagnostic and screening procedures, mental health conditions, treatment of disease and disorder or injury. The age range tends to be from 50 years plus and this service provides care for between 40 - 50 clients. They are rated `overall good` on their CQC rating.

About the job; your role is to monitor and administrate medication, wound care and care plans. Carrying out assessments and planning and reviewing care to make changes when needed. You will ensure the home is run efficiently, safely and smoothly in the absence of the Manager or Senior Nurse. Help with the managing of staff and have the understanding on who can help with clinical situations to ensure it is done correctly. Completing accident and incident records and assisting in the process of investigating complaints and ensuring that actions are taken as required. Communicating effectively with residents, relatives, staff, and external professionals and assisting in ensuring health and safety of the nursing home, including verifying that staff are following safe systems of work.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential that you are an experienced RGN and hold an NMC pin, it is ideal that you have experience within a nursing/elderly or Dementia service. You will contribute to continually improving the service and put the care of the service users above all else. You will a great communicator to ensure the well-being of all residents within the home, and ensuring that their physical, mental, emotional and social care needs are met. We are looking for a team player who has a high passion for giving good care.

For this permanent role working and average of 42 hours per week, working hours are 7.30pm - 7.30am on a two-week rolling rota; week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night/ week 2 - Wednesday and Thursday night. You will be offered £18ph/ £39,312per year, double pay for bank holidays are paid for the full 12-hour shift. Benefits will be confirmed at interview stage and holiday allowance is 5.8 weeks per year.
