Job Description

** Night Senior Care Assistant **
** Wellingborough, Northamptonshire **
** £26,208 / £12ph **
** Permanent and full time working 42 hours per week of 7.30pm - 7.30am**
** Week 1; Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun / Week 2; Wed and Thurs **
** Providing nursing care for people with dementia or a mental illness **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Night Senior Care Assistant who will also oversee medication as part of their role. This role is a full and permanent role working with a small well established care organisation proving care for adults with Dementia and mental health issues. You will work a 2 week rolling rota of nights which consist of 7.30pm - 7.30am; 5 nights on your first week and 2 on your second. This role consists of working closely with your Nurses in charge, your team members and your service users to ensure the best possible direction is given to your team and that the best possible care is provided for your service users.

About the job; a summary of the role includes to support the registered nurses by acting under the direction of the registered nurses, ensuring that care of the highest standard is delivered to all residents, to undertake medication administration, assisting in the planning and recording of care, to monitor and supervise the work of Care Assistants, to support Care Assistants in their role as Key Workers, to uphold the reputation of house by dealing professionally with all residents, visitors, and visiting professionals.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential that you hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or the equivalent, it is also an essential that you hold at least 1 years experience within the last year of dementia and mental health issues. Ideally, you will be a driver as the house is located in rural area and public transport cannot always be relied on. Should you have a dedicated person who can drop you off and pick you up that is fine.

A salary of £26,208 will be offered for this permanent and full time role which is £12ph for 42 hours per week. You will also be offered a full host of benefits which will be confirmed.
