Job Description

Job Title: Nordic & Baltic Travel Sales Support Executive - (12-18 months FTC)
Location: UK-Surrey-Croydon

Overview:
Summary:

This role is required to support the Nordic Travel Account Development Executive, Network Manager and Country Manager. You will be acting as first point of contact for customer and claim handler queries via email, ensure compliance of websites and documents, assisting in the implementation of new schemes and development of existing schemes, reporting monthly sales figures and liaising closely with other key departments.

Hours

Thirty-five hours per week. However, due to the nature of this role hours may vary in line with the needs of the business

Responsibilities:
Main tasks:
" Provide support to customers (via email) and claim handlers (via email and phone).
" Communication with other departments. For example Finance, Underwriting and Legal & Compliance (based in the Netherlands), external claims handlers (in the Nordic regions and Mauritius) and Head Office (in France).
" Website compliance. Check partner websites to ensure information about our insurance, and the sale of our insurance, is compliant. Support will be provided by a compliance officer;
" Product development and implementation (including proof reading Policy Wordings; creating IPIDs, confirmation emails, business rules; obtaining translations (via an external company) etc.);
" Reporting. Produce monthly graphs for the Country Manager showing sales figures (enter figures and format graph). Create monthly claims report (download and format
" Customer renewal reminders. Use mail merge to send emails to customers whose annual insurance is about to expire.
" The role may grow to encompass other key tasks.

Qualifications:
Essential evidence of experience within the following areas:

" GCSE/A 'Level or equivalent
" Previous Travel insurance experience
" Strong IT skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
" High attention to detail, organised and ability to manage multiple tasks whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
" Worked within a quality oriented / regulated environment
" Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
" Strongly numerate, able to interpret data and draw conclusions from information supplied
" Self-motivated with a highly disciplined work ethic requiring minimum supervision
" Proactive and flexible approach to work
" Ability to work effectively within a team
" Flexibility to travel and accommodate overnight stays outside of the UK

Desirable
" Degree/professional qualifications an advantage / Related Certificate / Diploma
" Working knowledge of travel/medical claims process and function
" Good written / spoken Nordic language (Norwegian/Danish/ Swedish/Finnish)
" Ability to present data in the appropriate format and provide an explanation of the report or analysis provided
" Experience of InDesign and Photoshop
" Commercially aware and at competent working with financial analysis
