I am currently recruiting for our client based in Barnsley, to do Ad-hoc shifts covering long term sickness, holidays and busy periods. The nursery has children aged 2 - 4 years old and is a family centre which has specialised facilities/disabled access allowing full inclusion for all children alike.
They offer short breaks for disabled children, parenting groups, drop in centres and are an Ofsted registered nursery.
You will take responsibility for ensuring safety, personal care and interacting with the families using the centre . The role will include general supervision, feeding, nap times, activities, nappy changing and education.
The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 1 years experience working as a Nursery Nurse and be qualified in Level 3 NVQ - Childcare. This is essential due to the nature of the role, only applicants meeting this criteria will be contacted.
You will need to have a DBS on the update service, or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for an enhanced DBS through Brook Street in order to be considered for this role. You must also be able to provide 5 years worth of references and proof of eligibility to work in the UK - eg passport, driving license and national insurance number.
