** Nursery Room Leader **
** Daventry, Northamptonshire **
** £10.50ph - £11ph **
** Permanent and full time **
** 3 week rolling rota; 7.30am - 4.30pm / 8am - 5pm / 8.30am - 6pm **
** 40 hours per week**

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for Level 3 Childcare qualified candidates who, holds Room Leader experience OR masses of experience within a nursery to step up to Room Leader, to become a permanent and full time member of staff within an independent standalone Daventry nursery. About the ideal candidate; we are looking for a committed Level 3 (as a min) Childcare qualified candidate to work within the nursery. We are looking for candidates who can work hard within the nursery and care for every child within your room.

For this full time and permanent role we are offering £10.50ph - £11ph based on an average working week of 40 hours. The shifts shall be based Monday to Friday on a 3 week rotating shift basis of 7.30am - 4pm / 8.30am - 5pm / 8.30am - 6pm.

We are looking for the right candidate to bring their experience and knowledge to the role of our vacant role.

You would be expected to:
- Ability to communicate confidently with other professionals, parents and children
- To be able to understand and meet the needs of all individual children and families
- To achieve and maintain high standards of care and consistent environments for children
- The ability to form caring and trusting relationships with the children and their families
- Complete record keeping and observations for your key children
- Plan and lead age appropriate activities
- Manage staff and report to senior management

It is essential that you hold a Level 3 in Childcare at the least and ideal if you hold recent experience in a similar role within a nursery or have a desire to increase your knowledge through continuous professional development. Having good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding is a must alongside a strong working attitude and want to not only work hard but play hard!

You will be expected to promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues, ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times and oversee the smooth running and high-quality practice within the room. To succeed you must be proactive, well organised, hardworking and passionate and show the ability to use your own initiative on a daily basis.

You must be committed and confident to work effectively as part of a team. You will have the ability to communicate well with children and adults alike and demonstrate a caring and patient attitude. You will be a good listener and able to relate well with other members of staff. It is important that you are diligent and have the self-commitment to keep on top of record keeping and reporting. You will have a desire to increase your own learning and that of your colleagues by making available any training information.
