Job Description

My client is a well known large organisation based in Sunderland and is looking to recruit a temporary Occupational Health and Wellbeing Administrator.

The main purpose of the job is to ensure administrative support is provided to the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service for this client and to ensure a compliant and proactive service is provided to all UK business areas. To ensure the continuing development of the company`s nurse led shared service and to improve and diversify the function in line with the needs of the business and their employees.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Supporting the delivery of a value adding health and wellbeing plan, its programmes and calendar of activity, initiatives and ideas demonstrating enhancements to employee engagement and wellbeing across the organisation.
Ensuring that compliance and standards are met including company health assessments and statutory health surveillance within the work place.
The effective delivery of an evidence based case management process and provision of reasonable adjustments and other rehabilitation techniques to support attendance.
To ensure the management referral process is effectively managed for Occupational Health Nurses and Occupational Physician as required.
To ensure that all medical records are kept up to date and appropriately stored and archived for confidentiality purposes
To ensure health and wellbeing resources and programmes are undertaken and delivered to appropriate sources across all sites
To input confidential information
To undertake audits for governance purposes
To plan and undertake health and wellbeing activities and programmes are delivered effectively across all locations
To be a point of contact for the service and ensure all clinical and wellbeing advise and support is provided in a timely manner.
To arrange travel, training and development for the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team
Liaise with external agencies such as legal and pensions teams to provide relevant and appropriate medical information
Support on undertaking specific specialised health surveillance and health assessments
Work closely with managers and the Human Resources department, producing and monitoring management information to improve employee wellbeing and focus on value added activity through SLAs and KPIs
