The role of this ocean freight customer service operator is to take full responsibility for the customer experience by managing the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures and regulatory requirements.
The duties will include:
Preparing customer bookings ready for shipment
Update clients and support clients in the shipment process
Deal with general enquiries and queries
Communicate via the telephone, e-mail, fax and so forth
Be able to multi task and deliver a high level of customer service
You should have excellent customer service skills and be able to liaise with people at all levels. Good computer skills are essential
It is essential for this role that you have previous experience working for a freight forwarder in Ocean procedures
