A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Office and Accounts Administrator to join my client who has had over 25 years experience within their industry as a maintenance provider based in Leicester at Meridian. In return my client is offering a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum with free parking, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and between Christmas and New year off as additional.
The Role and Typical Tasks
Answering the phone and making calls
Manage in house accounts - chasing debtors to ensure they are paying within a timely manner,
Imputing invoices and orders on to the system
logging payments dealing with petty cash and logging them.
Doing bank runs
Maintaining accounts mailbox and preparing for when their accountant comes, doing the quarterly and annual reports and to be able to extract data information
Support the technical managers, booking their visits on site and doing reports on the info they gather on site.
These are on a shift pattern of 3 days 8-5 and 2 days 9-6 Monday-Friday.
Minimum of 2 years admin experience within an office,
Flexible, positive to be able to be part of a small team.
Must be able to prioritise their own workload
Can multi task
Have excellent verbal and written communication
A strong attention to detail
Punctual reliable and trustworthy
Stable work history
Positive, friendly, approachable, able to work as part of a team
Good IT skills and can pick things up quickly
