Job Description

Job title: Office Administrator

Hours: Part-time, Permanent - working 18.75hrs in total (3 days preferably)

Location: Hull - office based

Salary: £19,133 - £21,454 pro rata depending on experience

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic and proactive individual with a positive attitude and 'can do' mindset.

  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
  • Liaise with other departments and other third parties as required.
  • Liaise with operations managers where appropriate and requires regarding administrative systems within the project.
  • Liaise with managers where appropriate and required regarding administration systems.
  • Lead on Health and Safety Coordination to ensure statutory obligations in respect of health and safety, risk assessments, fire safety, COSHH and security are met.
  • To assist in identifying improvements, developments and implementation of administration processes and systems.
  • Assist as required in the development, implementation and monitoring of administrative systems and make recommendations to the Admin Development Coordinator.
  • Place recruitment adverts for new vacancies, then go through application forms.
  • Arrange interviews for shortlisted applicants, liaise with candidates regarding attendance and provide any other information as required.
  • Where required, to produce and administer other recruitment paperwork
  • To arrange meetings and take minutes
  • Provide administrative support to but not limited to: Senior Management, HR and other Executive teams.
  • To act in an efficient and polite manner with a wide range of internal and external providers/suppliers and re-direct enquiries and take messages where appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality/a high standard of records and meet the requirements of the key performance indicators, providing reports as required.

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Google workspace
  • Knowledge of cloud-based systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of Equality and diversity issues
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Experience of administering office and/or clerical systems
  • Data inputting/processing

Education and Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
