Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Stourbridge is currently looking for an Office Administrator to support their regional hub depot. This will be an on site role, Monday to Friday, usually 8.00am to 15.30pm (35 hours) however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business. This will be a six-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension paying £12.40 per hour.

The successful worker will need to provide routine administrative support which would include sorting and distributing mail. Photocopying, filing, posting and/or proof-reading data. You will be required to answer telephone calls and relay messages and be able to input data efficiently and accurately. You will also be responsible for ordering stationery and equipment where necessary and processing timesheets. In essence you will need to be a strong administrator to cover the day to day running of the office.

You must have good communication skills to be able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders, and you must also be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
