Office and HR Manager

Salary - £27,358 - Full-time, 37.5 hours - 3 Month Fixed-Term-Contract (Will be extended salary will be pro-rata)

We are in partnership and collaborating with a fantastic client who are a registered care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands and providing support to vulnerable adults. They provide the very best service, and they would love your help to continue that process.

Overview of the role
The client is looking for a full-time Office and HR Manager, based in Birmingham to work with their service users who are at risk of homelessness, and those who are suffering from domestic abuse. You will provide staff with the right tools to support those who are in need.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to
" To manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the client, putting in place clear procedures and systems to enable all administration to be completed efficiently and effectively.
" Designs, implements, and reviews office policies by establishing standards and procedures.
" To ensure filing systems are maintained, secure and up to date.
" To be responsible for managing and monitoring all stock levels and ordering supplies as required.
" To manage receipt of all donations received, coordinating collections as required.
" To take responsibility for their own self development and ensure that their knowledge and information regarding Domestic Abuse is current and relevant.
" Manage the implementation and monitoring of HR processes including recruitment and selection, employment contracts and variations, starters and leavers, employment checks, induction, mandatory/other training, probationary period review, performance and development review, flexible working requests and coordinating disciplinary matters.
" To assist the organisation's safer recruitment efforts, by advertising vacancies and fulfilling admin duties around on-boarding such as preparing offer letters and contracts, sending out reference requests etc.
" Produce employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorised management requests.
" Promote staff development and training.
" Manage the condition of the building and co-ordinate any necessary repairs with the Intensive Housing Management Officer.

Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
" At least 2 year's experience as an office or HR manager
" You need to be resilient, as some service users will be vulnerable and will have challenging behaviour, and other complex needs
" Having the right attitude is key, and the most important thing my client is looking for. You need to show your loyalty and they will repay that faith with training and opportunities to grow within their organisation
" Computer literate, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid an annual salary of £27,358, and a very desirable employee package!
