Job Description

Our client works within the Engineering sector and is part of a worldwide group. They are known to provide solutions and are using the latest technology in their field to aid their well-respected clients. They are looking for an Office & Marketing Administrator to join their small team on a full-time permanent basis, offering a basic salary of around £20,000/annum +benefits.

You will be a vital member of the team who will liaise with all staff to offer solutions on a wide range of subjects, enabling a quick fix to client`s problems. Our clients use a bespoke operating software, so the ability to pick up skills quickly and previous admin experience is admired. However, training is provided. You will be the first point of contact so being a positive and friendly character is essential.

They are also looking for the Office & Marketing Administrator to take ownership of their social media pages, posting adverts and information about the company. So, an understanding of electronic marketing is going to be a useful asset. Your key responsibilities will include; Organising travel arrangements for customers and staff, making sure that anything they require such as accommodation and catering as appropriate to a good standard. You will oversee the maintenance of accurate records and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing post. Maintaining accurate up to date customer details. You will be the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and/or customer visits. You will attend industry exhibitions as required in addition to supporting the organisation at these events. You will be able to positively engage with other members of the team to ensure genuine customer issues are resolved. Providing a positive and creative input to the team, producing press releases and other marketing material to suffice with company standards. As well as using initiative and imagination to achieve results.
