Job Description

Office Coordinator
Coventry CV1
25 hours per week with flexible hours


Typically between 9-5 Monday-Friday but occasional evening or weekend work may be required
Temporary for approx. 3 months with permanent potential
£12.50 - £13.50ph depending on experience
Start date - 06/06

Duties:

  • Organise meetings and events doing all the necessary admin including setting up online meetings or booking venues, and sending out meeting papers
  • Manage diaries, scheduling and arranging meetings with external organisations
  • To support volunteers who attend meetings on behalf of the department to ensure they have the information they need to take part and report back
  • To act as the first point of contact dealing with email and phone enquiries from the public and external organisations - providing information to answer questions asked and sending written replies
  • Various forms of data entry for example of survey findings, logs of client contacts and mailing lists in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
  • To update website content, and produce newsletter and social media content as required working with other team members


About you:


Essential:

  • A good level of administrative experience
  • Experience of managing diaries and organising meetings
  • Experience of answering the phone and emails from members of the public and providing information
  • Experience of a range of data entry
  • The ability to write clearly
  • Ability to prioritise different tasks and meet deadlines
  • A very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office


Desirable:

  • Experience of volunteering or working with volunteers
  • Use of Excel for data entry and reporting

Due to the nature of the role, the chosen candidate will have to agree to being DBS checked
